Properties Of Manchester  Signaling                    1-Transmission bandwidth : The bandwidth for Manchester  Signaling is


twice that for bipolar signaling. The bandwidth is 2Rb . Thus , the Manchester signaling is not bandwidth efficient.
2. Error detection and correction capability: A half bit period error would lead to an inverted output at the receiver end, this will lead to code violations. The hardware used can detect these code violations, and use this information to synchronise accurately on the correct interpretation of the data.
3. power spectral density : It has a zero PSD at dc (w = 0)
4. Power efficiency: Manchester signaling is efficient scheme from the power requirement viewpoint.
5. Transparency: It is transparant because each pulse position is occupied
6. Adequate timing content: A long string of 0's will not cause any difficulty in  timing extraction.
